About Us

THE BEGINNING

Call it coincidence, luck, fate, or powers from above, Ken and Jack have become partners for a reason.  Ken, whose 35 year culinary journey has taken him from executive chef to Wendy’s to Einstein’s, had a bagel shop 70 miles north of Arlington.  Jack had retired after 30 years in the food distribution business.  While taking his girls to a singing practice (which happened to be next door to Ken’s shop), Jack stopped  in for his first bagel sandwich.  The following week, Jodi (Jack's wife) took the girls to singing practice and again visited Ken’s shop.  Ken, who was looking for a business partner, and Jodi, who had decided it was time for her hubby to go back to work, talked about Jack's interest in a restaurant.  One thing led to another,  and the next thing you know, Ken and Jack were in the bagel business together.  

THE NAME

Starting from scratch, we were trying to find a name for the new venture.  Jack recalled his first trip to meet with Ken.  Jodi inquired where he was going, and Jack responded, "I am going to meet those bagel boys."  And that’s how we got the name BAGEL BOYZ!

THE MENU  

BAGEL BOYZ DELI offers a unique combination of  traditional New York bagels (something about that New York water) with  somewhat unusual, out of the norm, or we like to think inspired from above, homemade recipes.  Spicy Queso and bagels, who would have thought!  Our Spicy Queso is made from fresh serrano peppers, onions, and well, we can’t tell you all of our secrets, but it is dynamite!  Try our French Dip with green chili's on our newest creation Boyz Bagel Bread.  Or for the purist, traditional Lox & Bagels with fresh salmon, cream cheese, tomatoes, red onions topped with capers.  Enjoy any of our fresh brewed coffees (5 flavors) while using our free WIFI in our dining area or the convenience of our drive thru. 

We offer a full line of catering for any business or corporate functions, school meetings and lunches, or private parties.  We provide boxes of bagels, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, or lunch sandwiches, healthy wraps and individual box lunches.  Don’t forget our fresh baked cookies for your event!
